Give your Budget a Workout

The holidays are over and a new year has begun! This is your opportunity to get on track financially. There are plenty of online tools and apps to help you create a budget. Here are a few sites to get you started:

Free and inexpensive phone apps to record spending and make budgets (track spending right at the cash register!)

Most banks have an online banking feature where you can categorize and track your spending.

Once you have a handle on your money, don’t forget that January is also the time for adding and dropping courses. If you are not going to keep a course make sure you drop it before it is too late!

Helpful UVic Deadlines:

  • January 16, 2018 – Last day for 100% reduction of second term fees
  • January 31, 2018 – Last day for paying second term fees without penalty
  • February 6, 2018 – Last day for 50% reduction of tuition fees.
